Bio
Dallas-local alternative musician and producer Myles Maestro delivers poetic lyrics atop a melodic flow with catchy choruses and verses that paint a cryptic picture of his evolving perspective and existential journey. His style reflects his large variety of influences, blending spacious alternative instrumentation, emotional melodies, and gritty drums that create a dark musical experience.
Born Myles Bowman III in 1998 in The Woodlands, Texas, Maestro grew up playing piano, guitar, and drums while singing in a choir before eventually beginning his music career in August 2018. It has heavy influence from alternative artists like Kurt Cobain or the opposite side of the spectrum, like Bon Iver, along with hip-hop artists like Mac Miller and Post Malone. Maestro began recording as XPERT LEADER, a moniker derived from a Wu-Tang name generator. His sound has slowly flourished into a unique, ethereal, and electronic-esque style that aims to take you into his spiritual experiences through music. This new sound has been inspired by Billie Eilish, Labrinth, and even Dominic Fike. His early tracks are posted on Soundcloud, leading up to 2019’s first single as Myles Maestro, “Ghost." Maestro continues to produce his own tracks in the North Dallas area.
